Lunchtime crash leaves one dead in Tupelo
TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – The Lee County Coroner’s Office and Tupelo Police Department are investigating a fatal car accident in Tupelo.
Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green says a vehicle hit a light pole on North Gloster Street a little after noon Friday.
A passenger in that vehicle was severely injured and taken to North Mississippi Medical Center where they were pronounced dead at 12:24 PM from apparent multiple trauma.
The investigation is still open
