Dry for now, rain returns soon

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – Fair weather continues for a few more days until rain chances return to the forecast.

TUESDAY EVENING: Calm conditions continue through the evening and overnight hours, with temperatures dropping into the low-50s overnight. Some patchy fog development is possible overnight and early tomorrow morning – use caution if you’ll be driving during this time.

WEDNESDAY: A few patchy clouds will stick around through the morning hours, but it’ll be sunny by the afternoon. Temperatures will be comfortable, with highs in the low-80s.

END OF WEEK: Dry conditions will persist into Thursday and Friday morning. However, periods of rain and storms will be possible starting Friday night, lasting into the weekend and early next week. We expect to see rain and storms during the afternoon and potentially the evening hours of Halloween (Saturday). High temperatures will range from the low-80s to the mid-70s as we head into the weekend.
