A Break From Heavy Storms, But Not the Heat
COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – Not many storms today or the next couple of days, but the 90’s are still sticking around.
TONIGHT – Temps will drop to the low 70’s, around 72 for the overnight low. Mostly clear and calm conditions will last throughout the evening and overnight.
TOMORROW – Saturday will start the weekend nice and toasty! Isolated rain chances will make way for a lot more sunshine throughout the day. Temps will warm into the upper 90’s with a Heat Index near 101. There are no active heat alerts for the weekend, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be a hot one.
NEXT WEEK – The heat will gradually die down, but not by much. The mid 90’s will persist Sunday before a front rolls through and drops temps to the low 90’s by Monday. These temps will continue throughout most of next week. Scattered showers and storms will return by Tuesday before becoming more isolated by Friday.
