Continuing overall mild conditions

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – Conditions this week remain mostly calm, with mild temperatures. Light amounts of rain will return into the forecast for the weekend.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: One more mostly clear night will have temperatures COLD AGAIN! Low temps overnight will fall close to freezing. Be prepared and bundle up.

THURSDAY: Really mild conditions for our Thursday. High temperatures will be in the middle 60s. The sky will be mostly clear, so there will be plenty of sun to go around. One more cold night, as overnight low temperatures will be falling again into the middle 30s.

FRIDAY: High temperatures will be back in the middle 60s. There will be an increase in moisture, allowing for clouds to fill back in and across the state. With a layer of cloud coverage in the sky, low temperatures will be slightly warmer in the lower 40s.

WEEKEND: Depending on the placement of this weekend’s system, rain chances may be more or less. There is still at least a light chance for rain on Saturday. Temperatures will be in the range of upper 50s to lower 60s this weekend. Low temperatures will go from the upper 40s to the lower 40s.
