Light rain continuing for end of week

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – As the Gulf low pressure continues shifting to the East and Northeast, a few more showers are possible to reach into NE MS. Temperatures will be returning to normal out of the week and into the weekend.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Temperatures tonight will be cool, falling again into the lower 50s. Heavy cloud coverage continues with the chance for scattered rain.

THURSDAY: Temperatures will be returning to normal, reaching back into the upper 60s. Sky conditions will be staying cloudy, but the rain will be very isolated. Only a 20% chance for Thursday. Slightly warmer for the overnight lows, dropping into the middle 50s.

FRIDAY: Upper 60s again for the end of the week. A cold front will be working its way through northern Mississippi. The chance for rain will be light but still possible, as the front moves through. Low temperatures will be back in the lower 50s.

WEEKEND: So pleasant and comfortable! High temperatures will be in the middle 60s. Cloud coverage will be clearing early Saturday morning, bringing in lots of sun for the weekend. Sunday morning is going to be COLD! Low temperature hitting the middle 30s. Sunday night into Monday morning, a bit warmer, will be in the upper 40s.
