Planned power outage announced for Starkville

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Some Starkville residents will be without power for a short time Friday morning.

Starkville Utilities announced there will be a planned power outage Friday from 1 a.m. to 1:45 a.m. to do preventative maintenance at its southwest substation.

The utility company said much of south Starkville will be without power.
