Police make an arrest after the burglary of a Tupelo commercial building 

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – The Tupelo Police Department has made an arrest in the burglary of a commercial building.

According to a release, Jimmy W. Thrasher, 59, of Verona, was arrested and charged with one count of burglary of a commercial building.

The release states that on February 11, officers responded to a burglary on 804 West Jackson Street.

Officers contacted business personnel who told them they discovered items had been taken from a storage unit.

An investigation led officers to Thrasher.

On Friday, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir ordered him to be held without bond.

The case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
