Rainy Mid-Week

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – After days of isolated showers, scattered and likely storms come back by Wednesday.

TONIGHT AND TOMORROW – Tonight temps will continue to stay in the low 70’s with mostly clear conditions prevailing. Tomorrow is the last day for isolated showers and storms before more roll through. It will be another hot afternoon in areas that don’t see much, if any, rain with temps rising to the middle 90’s and a Heat Index near 101.

MIDWEEK– By Wednesday, rain coverage will expand and the middle 90’s will stay. More storms are expected to move through throughout the day with some that have the potential to be severe. Western portions of our viewing area are in a 1/5 Marginal severe risk. Thursday will be pretty similar except the afternoon high will cool slightly to the low 90s.

REST OF WEEK – Good news though, after Thursday isolated rain will return and sunshine by the weekend. Temps will warm back up pretty quickly by Sunday returning to the mid 90’s.
