Search continues for a missing teenager on the coast of MS
MISSISSIPPI (WCBI) – The search continues for a missing teenager on the coast of Mississippi.
18-year-old Nolan Wells was last seen on Horn Island, Saturday, July 4.
Wells is described as a black male, about 6 feet 1 and weighing about 180 pounds.
He was last seen wearing blue swim trunks, no shirt, and glasses, according to our sister station, WXXV, in Gulfport.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department has reestablished a command post at the Lake Mars Boat Launch
1200 Lake Mars Avenue, in Ocean Springs, as the search continues.
Authorities are currently searching Horn Island with the assistance of the Department of Marine Resources, the
Gulf Islands National Seashore, and the United States Coast Guard.
