Summer in Full Swing

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – Summer isn’t over yet and conditions this week make it obvious.

TONIGHT – Temps in the mid 70’s will keep tonight feeling mild and muggy. Mostly clear conditions make an average summer night.

TOMORROW – The heat will continue to increase day-by-day starting tomorrow. Highs will still range around the mid 90’s around 96 across the area. A Heat Advisory is in effect for the entire viewing area most of the day Wednesday. Expect feels-like temps around or above 105 and isolated rain.

REST OF THE WEEK – Temps will continue to rise inching into the upper 90’s by Thursday and the triple digits by this weekend. Expect more heat alerts for the rest of this week and into the weekend.  Isolated rain chances will remain throughout the entire week, but the majority of us will stay dry.
