Summer-time heat and rain chances continue

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – Not much changing in the forecast as we continue further into July!

SUNDAY NIGHT: Lots of humidity, overall feeling sticky as you step outdoors. Temperatures tonight will drop into the low to middle 80s.

MONDAY: Summer-time trends will be continuing, as everyone heads back into reality after the holiday weekend. Afternoon high temperatures will be in the low to middle 90s. Expect scattered chances for showers and storms throughout the day, especially in the afternoon to evening. Low temperatures will again fall into the low to middle 70s.

TUESDAY: Rinse and repeat! Hot afternoon high temperatures reaching the low to middle 90s. Isolated to scattered showers and storms will be possible through the hottest times of the day. Low temperatures remain warm and muggy, in the middle 70s.
