New Supt. Named for Amory Schools

AMORY, Miss. (WCBI) — A new superintendent will be soon be leading Amory schools.

The school board has named Ken Byars as the man for the district’s top job.

He was most recently principal at Amory High, and lead Amory Middle before that.

Byars replaces Tony Cook, who is going back to his hometown of Houston to lead their school district.

Byars will start July 1.
