Video: Airplane Lands in Ditch

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) -A soft landing has motorists along Highway 69 in Lowndes County talking. For local residents, the mystery is how this airplane ended up in a ditch.

It wasn’t an emergency landing. It was more of a trailer malfunction.

“A gentleman was towing it from the airport last night and it got away from it and it ended up in the ditch.”

The MHP and Lowndes Sheriff’s Department assisted MDOT with towing and removal of the plane.
