Video: Columbus Police Department Plans Ceremonies for Peace Officers Memorial Day

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The Columbus Police Department will host a pair of events to honor Officers who have died in the line of duty.
Wednesday night the department will hold a candlelight vigil in conjunction with the National Law Enforcement Memorial at 8 PM in front of Police Headquarters in Columbus.

Friday morning the department will recognize Peace Officers Memorial Day with a wreath laying ceremony at 11 AM also at Police Headquarters. The public is invited to attend both ceremonies.
