Amory Man Arrested for Possession of Morphine

MONROE, Miss. (Press Release) — An ongoing investigation on behalf of the Monroe Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Unit has yielded one arrest.

Monroe County Sheriff’s Department arrested 58-year-old Kevin Rye of Amory early this morning for possession of morphine.

Rye is currently being held at the Monroe County Detention Center.

No further information on the case has been released.
