Video: Local Vets Weigh In on ISIS ” Hit List”

ISIS has released what appears to be a hit list on 100 members of the US military.

The online post includes addresses and pictures and urges followers to kill those listed.

The new online post is from a group calling itself the “Islamic State Hacking Division.”

The group says it’s posting the information quote- “so that our brothers in America can deal with you” and because the military members were part of campaigns to defeat ISIS.

One local veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan with the Navy says it’s scary to think that ISIS is getting closer to home.

” Scary thing is, you are seeing some action here in the states. There are people that are doing things in the name of Isis. So, a list of people’s addresses, that’s horribly frightening, very frightening, ” says jared Richardson.

The Marine Corps and The Air Force have both released statements saying they have notified the people on the list and are investigating the threat.

They encourage all members and their families to track their social media activity and make sure privacy settings are adjusted to limit personal information.
