Six taken to hospital after Columbus crash

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A late afternoon car crash in Columbus sent six people to the hospital, four of them being children.

The car accident happened around 4 p.m. Tuesday on Main Street near the Propst Park entrance.

Police said a car was slowing down to turn when it was rear-ended by another vehicle.

The six that were taken to the hospital all were inside the vehicle that was rear-ended.

At this time, police said they’re being treated for non-life threatening.

The other driver involved didn’t receive any injuries.

This accident remains under investigation.
