Starkville Police Department posts safety reminders ahead of MSU Game Day

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Starkville Police Department has posted safety reminders for Mississippi State University’s first home game day of the season.

The department reminded residents and visitors of the no parking zones on Highway 12, Russell Street, the Cotton District, and Collegeview Drive.

Pedestrian traffic will be heavy on Russell Street and University Drive. Starkville PD asked drivers to be extra cautious and watch for people.

Finally, golf carts will not be allowed on city roadways unless they are street legal.
