High winds could ground Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons

Thanksgiving is starting off dangerously cold in many areas, which will be a problem for at least 3.5 million people expected to watch the annual parade in New York City where near record-level lows are expected. There’s also a high wind alert which could mean no giant balloons at the parade. That hasn’t happened since 1971. Don Dahler reports
