Watch National Youth Poet Laureate Amanda Gorman perform her Thanksgiving poem

In honor of Thanksgiving, “CBS This Morning” asked Amanda Gorman, the inaugural Youth Poet Laureate of the U.S., to write a poem about what the holiday means to her. The 20-year-old is a junior at Harvard University. She performs her composition, “The Republic Gives Thanks.”
