Man wanted for attempted murder in Natchez after woman shot
NATCHEZ, Miss. (WJTV) – According to CBS affiliate WJTV, Natchez police announced a man is wanted for the attempted murder of a woman.
The Natchez Democrat reported Khadijah Isaiah Mosby, 33, is wanted for attempted murder and felon in possession of a firearm.
According to Natchez Police Chief Lee Best, Mosby shot Danielle Johnson, 51, twice on Pelican Court in Natchez just after 7:00 p.m. on June 15, 2026. There’s no word on her condition.
Best said Mosby is considered to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his whereabouts can contact 911 or the Natchez Police Department, 601-445-5565.
