Columbus Arts Council and MUW faculty and students lend a helping hand to Columbus Parks and Recreation
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A team effort is going into giving a Columbus park a makeover.
The Columbus Arts Council, along with faculty and students from Mississippi University for Women, lent a helping hand – and paintbrushes – to Columbus Parks and Recreation.
The volunteers put a fresh coat of paint on the tower, bridge, and other features at the playground in Lee Park.
With today’s steamy temperatures, the crew waited until late afternoon to get started.
