UPDATE: Lee County Sheriff’s Office identifies girl & confirmed her safety

LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The Lee County Sheriff’s Office has identified a girl seen on doorbell camera video knocking on the door of a home in the Auburn community of Lee County in the early hours Sunday morning.

Around Noon on Monday, in a post on Facebook, the Sheriff’s Office shared that she had been identified and is okay.

They went on to thank the public for its assistance.
