Couple held without bond after death of child

TUPELO, Miss (WCBI) – Two people are facing charges after the death of a child in Tupelo..

Friday, Tupelo Police were called to the Super 7 Inn on McCullough Boulevard about an unresponsive infant.

The child was taken to North Mississippi Medical Center but later died,

Police arrested Daniel Ross of Plantersville and Charity Burdine of Tupelo and charged each of them with Felony Child Abuse.

A Tupelo Municipal Court judge ordered them to be held without bond.
