Volunteers and vendors getting ready for a big Caledonia Days celebration
CALEDONIA, Miss. (WCBI) – This weekend’s weather is turning out to be just right for Caledonia Days.
Volunteers and vendors were busy setting up in Ola J. Pickett Park today for the 22nd Annual event.
The festival kicked off Monday evening with live music from 5 until 10 featuring Jessica Horton and The Silver Eagle Band and Alabama Sunset.
Caledonia Days keeps growing every year, and this year there are 130 arts and crafts vendors and 26 food vendors signed up, a kids area, pet parade, car show, and the Bigfoot Monster Truck.
“I just think taking away, jsut the family memories, and you know, what we have here, and how we’ve grown every year to make it bigger. This is, I think, the biggest we’ve had every year, and I plan to do it again next year and keep growing our festival, so that everybody can come in and just see what our small town is all about.”
Things cranked back up Saturday in Ola J. Pickett Park from 8 AM until 5 PM
