Cooper Tire Issues Statement On Wednesday Shooting

Below is statement from Cooper Tire on Wednesday shooting.

An investigation is underway by local law enforcement, but we can confirm that two employees of an on-site contractor firm working at our plant in Tupelo were involved in a shooting incident this evening. The victim is under the care of medical personnel and has been transported to the hospital. The suspect is in police custody. There is no active danger at the facility to any personnel. Our thoughts are with the victim at this time and we will continue to aid law enforcement in the investigation into this incident.
