Video: Louisville Mayor Gears Up For Third Term

LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Louisville Mayor Will Hill is gearing up for his third term.

Hill was the only one to qualify in the city’s mayoral race.

He’s currently serving his second term, which hasn’t been an easy road.

The 2014 tornado that struck Louisville and its recovery efforts were some of the challenges Hill faced.

Hill says third term plans are to keep moving forward and accomplishing goals.

“We want to continue to see this progress through projects and through the energy and optimism in the community. I just want to see us take this community to a whole new level, and I’m also trying not to look too forward into the future. I just want to take one day at a time and achieve tasks.”

Hill says he’s grateful for the opportunity to serve his city again and is looking forward to the next four years, and especially next month.

That’s when Winston Plywood and the Winston County Medical Center will have their grand openings.
