East Webster/Jones County’s Autumn Frost Named NJCAA First Team All-American

ELLISVILLE, Miss. (WCBI/JCJC Athletics) – Another day, another round of postseason recognition for the Jones County Junior College softball team. Four Lady Bobcats have been selected as NJCAA Division II All-Americans with one area player earning first team honors.

Designated player Autumn Frost was named a first team All-American. The former East Webster Lady Wolverine exploded in her final season with the Lady Bobcats.

Frost hit .406 with 22 home runs and 88 RBIs. She led the state and was second nationally in home runs and was tied for third in RBIs. She was named to the national All-Tournament Team.
The Lady Bobcats posted a 55-4 record, which is a school record for wins, its fifth MACJC championship in six years, a runnerup finish in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament and a No. 1 ranking in the final regular season poll.
