Crimestoppers, Tupelo PD looking for answers about shooting

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Tupelo police are looking for answers after a possible shooting Sunday night.

Just before 1 a.m. Sunday, Tupelo PD went to the Econo Lodge on Mississippi Drive where a man was found with an apparent gunshot wound to his leg. The man was taken to North Mississippi Medical Center.

Early investigation indicated the shooting was possibly related to illegal drugs.
