Two Killed After ATV Collides With Amtrak

CRENSHAW, Miss. (WCBI)- A tragic weekend near Crenshaw, Mississippi Saturday after two people were killed after their ATV collides with an Amtrak train.

It happened around 9:45 p.m. Saturday night.

Amtrak officials said in a statement the train was traveling from New Orleans to Chicago.

Family members say Ashlyn Helms and Mason Overall were the two on the ATV.

Loved ones have set up a memorial at the site.

The family says Helms graduated from Strayhorn High in 2015 and Overall graduated in 2014.

Overall played for both the high school football and basketball teams.
