A family is without a home in Myrtle after a house fire

UNION COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) Around 1:00 Saturday afternoon, the Myrtle Fire Department responded to a call about a structure fire at a home on 1735 Highway 178 West.

When firefighters arrived, they saw flames and heavy smoke coming out of the home.

West Union, North Haven, and New Albany Fire Departments also responded to the scene.

Myrtle Fire Chief Clay Morman told WCBI, no one was at the home during the time of the fire.
