A Lowndes County wreck leaves a car upside down

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- A scary scene in Lowndes County Thursday afternoon.

A car flipped after losing control on Highway 69.

The car was going south when it left the road and overturned.

Witnesses told WCBI the car flipped multiple times before landing in a ditch.

The driver and passenger both complained of pain after the accident.

Traffic was stalled while crews worked to clear the scene.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol investigated the accident.
