Afternoon crash under investigation

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- A woman is injured in a Thursday afternoon crash in Lowndes County.

A gray Kia sedan was driving on highway 45 South when it hit a utility pole.

The victim was placed into an ambulance. It’s unclear if she was taken to the hospital for her injuries.

The accident is being investigated by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
