Base community helps airmen have smooth transition in to the Golden Triangle
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Earlier today, January 21, the Base Community Council had its first meeting for 2026 at the Columbus Air Force Base.
BCC President Kevin Stafford said their purpose is to support the airmen and their families.
Colonel James Blech, the Commander of 14th Flying Training Wing, also spoke about the base’s accomplishments from 2025 and its future goals.
