Chief Financial Officer Resigns
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)- The search for a new chief financial officer is on in Columbus.
This comes after C.F.O. Milton Rawle submitted his letter of resignation to councilman on Tuesday.
The board accepted his letter in executive session.
The resignation went into effect immediately.
Under his leadership, the city’s budget faced a deficit of more than $800,000.
Earlier this year Rawle served a 16-day suspension.
