Corinth woman facing disability fraud charges

CORINTH, Miss. (WCBI) – A Corinth woman is free on bond after being indicted on disability fraud charges.

Leigh Ann Smart, 38, was accused of lying to social security case workers about her earnings and employment.

Federal prosecutors said Smart told her case manager she was not earning any money but, the Social Security Administration said Smart was selling lifestyle and health supplements during the three year period she claimed to be disabled.
