Crash sends 76-year-old woman to the hospital

CALEDONIA, Miss. (WCBI)- A scary crash sends a Caledonia driver to the hospital Tuesday morning.

The accident happened, just before 10 a.m., on Boarder Springs Road.

Lowndes County deputies said the 2004 Ford Explorer was going west. The unidentified driver lost control, ran off the road and the SUV flipped.

Volunteer firefighters had to rescue the 76-year-old woman from the vehicle.

Investigators said her condition is unknown.
