Deputies continuing to investigate after 60-year-old woman found dead in home

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Oktibbeha County deputies continued to investigate the death of Joyce Bostick.

The 60-year-old woman’s body was found last week at her home on Sykes Road.

Deputies were originally called to the house to check on Bostick.

The home was partially burned inside.

Investigators said they are still piecing clues together in the homicide case. A person of interest does remain in custody on unrelated charges.

Coroner Michael Hunt said a preliminary autopsy has not been completed yet.
