Deputy take to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Prentiss Co.
PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Sheriff’s Deputy is taken to the ER after being hit by a vehicle.
According to the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department, Investigator Kolby Knight was struck by a motorist during a traffic stop.
It happened on Highway 371 north of Marietta.
Knight was taken to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, where they are assessing his injuries.
At this time, he is alert and talking.
No word yet on whether the driver will be facing any charges.
