Duo arrested on rape charge in Lowndes County

LOWNDES COUNTY,  Miss. (WCBI) –  Two men were arrested in connection to a sexual assault on Valentine’s Day.

Shawn Franklin and Daryl Walker were both charged with rape.

A 59-year-old woman reported being sexually assaulted on February 14 to the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office.

Both men remain behind bars.
