High waters flood Amory church

AMORY, Miss. (WCBI)- Amory is also experiencing some flood damage.

The Bigbee Baptist Church on highway 6 is almost fully submerged.

Water fills its way up all the way to the front door.

The entire church parking lot is under several feet of water leaving no way in or out.

The pastor did not want to appear on camera but her said that he, along with other church members, had been carrying pews and other heavy objects out of the sanctuary all day.
