How the NFL Player’s Coalition influenced ballot initiatives in the midterms

Voters in more than a dozen states considered ballot questions on issues such as marijuana legalization and Medicaid explansion in this week’s midterm elections. Some of those ballot measures were the focus of a group of NFL players inspired by the controversial on-field protest of Colin Kaepernick to enact civic change.
