Log truck crash stalls traffic on Highway 82

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A log truck crash in Columbus stalled traffic Monday afternoon on Highway 82.

The accident happened near the 18th Avenue eastbound on-ramp.

Logs were scattered across the highway and down the hill.

Crews shut down the eastbound lanes and one westbound lane, while the scene was cleared.

No word on any injuries.

Columbus police are investigating the accident.
