Mississippi Valley State Shooting Investigation

LEFLORE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- Mississippi Valley State University police are investigating a Tuesday night isolated shooting incident.

At about 6:50 pm in the Charles Lackey Recreation Center, a disagreement between a small group of people broke out, when one individual pulled out a gun.

In a statement, the university said one person suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

This person is not a student at the university.

So far, no arrests have been made.
