Monroe County deputies make weekend drug arrest

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Shannon man on parole with MDOC is facing more trouble.

Michael Wright, 35, is charged with 3 counts of Possession of Controlled Substances.

He was arrested Friday by Monroe County Deputies.

Deputies say Wright has more charges pending against him.

He remains in the Monroe County Detention Center.
