Prosecutors search Galveston-Houston archdiocese for abuse evidence

(CBS) – Prosecutors in Texas searched the offices of a Houston archdiocese looking for so-called “secret archives” that could provide evidence in a Catholic clergy abuse case.

Father Manuel La Rosa-Lopez is accused of molesting two teenagers.

The district attorney says Wednesday’s search, which lasted late into the night, was related to that case. Nikki Battiste reports.
