Search continues for missing Monroe County man

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- Deputies are asking for the public’s help finding a Monroe County man missing since Monday.

Steven Huebner, 54, was last seen Monday morning when he told his wife he was leaving for a business trip to Montgomery, Alabama.

Heubner, who is a civilian employee at the Columbus Air Force Base, never showed up for the scheduled meeting in Alabama.

Monroe County Sheriff Cecil Cantrell says Heubner’s co workers say it is out of character for him to be late for an appointment or to not check in at all.

The sheriff is hopeful someone has information on Heubner’s whereabouts.
