Sulligent man pleads guilty to drug charge

LAMAR COUNTY, Ala. (WCBI) – A Sulligent man will spend two decades in jail for a drug charge.

Darron Woods pled guilty to one count of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute.

Woods was arrested in October of 2018 after a narcotics investigation by Sulligent Police.

When he was arrested. he was out on bond for previous felony drug charges.

Woods will be in the custody of the Alabama Department of Corrections.
