Trump faces criticism, legal challenges for plan to end birthright citizenship
Six days before the midterm elections, President Trump is trying to shift the debate from health care and the economy to immigration, inspired perhaps by a slow-moving caravan of Central American migrants more than 1,000 miles from the U.S. border. His latest idea – to deny automatic citizenship for children born to non-citizens on U.S. soil – is getting strong and widespread pushback. Weijia Jiang reports.
