Trump says he hopes Christine Blasey Ford, Kavanaugh’s accuser, comes forward

(CBS) – A highly anticipated Capitol Hill showdown between Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and his accuser is in doubt.

Christine Blasey Ford says Kavanaugh assaulted her when they were teenagers, but has not yet accepted an invitation to appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
